Publication Ethics
The "Research Consortium Archive" serves as a valuable platform for sharing and preserving research conducted by the consortium's members. To maintain the integrity and credibility of the archive, we establish the following ethical guidelines for authors and editors:
For Authors:
- Originality and Authorship: Ensure your work is original and you possess the sole rights to submit it to the archive. Clearly list all contributing authors and accurately reflect their intellectual contributions.
- Research Conduct: Adhere to the highest ethical standards in conducting your research. This includes obtaining informed consent for human subjects, following animal welfare guidelines, and accurately reporting data. Cite relevant prior work and avoid plagiarism.
- Data Availability: Where feasible, consider making your research data publicly available to promote transparency and reproducibility. Provide clear guidelines for accessing and interpreting the data.
- Conflict of Interest: Disclose any financial or personal interests that could potentially influence your research or presentation.
- Manuscript Preparation: Prepare your manuscript according to the archive's formatting and submission guidelines. Ensure clarity, accuracy, and proper referencing.
For Editors:
- Peer Review: Implement a rigorous and objective peer review process to ensure the quality and scientific merit of submitted manuscripts. Select reviewers with relevant expertise and avoid potential conflicts of interest.
- Fairness and Confidentiality: Treat all submissions fairly and protect the confidentiality of authors and reviewers throughout the process.
- Editorial Decisions: Base editorial decisions solely on the scientific merit and novelty of the work, not on extraneous factors.
- Ethical Concerns: Address potential ethical concerns promptly and fairly. Investigate suspected misconduct and follow established procedures for retraction or correction of published articles.
