Abstract

This article examines the influence of peer pressure on the decision-making processes of adolescents, highlighting both positive and negative impacts. Through a review of existing literature, it explores how peer relationships shape choices related to risk-taking behaviours, academic performance, and social interactions. The study employs quantitative and qualitative methods, including surveys and case studies, to analyse the mechanisms of peer influence and the contexts in which they occur. The findings underscore the complexity of peer pressure, suggesting that while it can lead to detrimental choices, it can also foster positive behaviours.
