Mental health stigma is a pervasive issue that affects individuals worldwide, yet its manifestations and underlying causes vary significantly across different cultures. This article examines the cultural dimensions of mental health stigma, identifying key factors that contribute to its persistence and exploring potential solutions. By analysing qualitative and quantitative data from diverse cultural contexts, we aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of how stigma influences help-seeking behavior, treatment adherence, and overall mental health outcomes. The article concludes with recommendations for culturally sensitive interventions that can effectively reduce stigma and promote mental health awareness.
